In-Person or Virtual Therapy

My approach is individualized and includes a combination of somatic awareness, Internal Family Systems (IFS or “parts work”), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) , mindfulness, brief therapy, recovery programming, ceremony & ritual, and neuroscience.

Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

Psychedelic-assisted therapy, including therapeutic use of ketamine, is a powerful option for those with treatment-resistant depression. In a ceremonial, intentional, and soothing space, we will explore the deeper layers of your psyche and find new pathways to healing. Additionally, I offer outdoor walk-and-talk or hiking integration sessions after medicine sessions are completed.

Nature-Based Therapy

I offer hiking, walking sessions, or longer retreats like day hikes or overnight camping for individuals, couples, and families. Some people are more comfortable walking outside, compared to being in an office, and for many, just being in nature feels calming and puts them in an better place to heal.

“I’m in a dramatically better place as a parent today because I had the good fortune to work with AJ. She was unafraid to challenge me in constructive ways, and her intelligence and empathy made every meeting a pleasure. If you ever have the opportunity to work with or meet AJ, please do - she’s someone who, I’m certain, will also make a positive difference in your world.”
